Updates settings

Using the latest version of the Logitech Webcam Software ensures that you are making the most of your product and have access to the latest features.

To adjust update settings, either:

· right-click the system tray icon, WebCam icon camera helper Updates settings, and select Check for updates

or

· click Preferences at the top of the Logitech Webcam Software window and go to the Updates tab.

The date and time your Logitech Webcam Software was Last Updated is displayed at the top of the screen.

There are two ways you can keep your Logitech Webcam Software up to date:

· Manually. To check for software updates yourself periodically, click the Check now for updates button. A message is displayed, indicating whether your software is up to date, or if updates are available. If there are updates available, you can then download them.
· Automatically. If you want the Logitech Webcam Software to check for updates itself, click Configure. The Logitech Updater Settings dialog box is displayed. Check Turn on automatic updates and then choose from the following options:
· Notify me but don’t automatically download or install them if you want to receive a message on screen notifying you when updates are available to be downloaded.
· Download updates for me, but let me choose when to install them if you want the updates to be downloaded automatically, but want to choose when to install them. You receive a message on screen notifying you when updates have been downloaded.
· Automatically download updates and install them if you want the updates to be downloaded and installed automatically without prompting you first.

After making your choice, click OK to close the Logitech Updater Settings dialog box, and then click Save in the Updates tab.
